Eureka MO MOPS & MOMSnext @ St. Marks

We are very excited to welcome you to Eureka MOPS & MOMSnext!

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers (but we’re really for any mom from birth through kindergarten). The early years of being a mom are just as foundational to moms as they are to babies, and those years are filled with unique needs that other moms instinctively understand. Eureka MOPS exists to provide a Christ-centered, authentic atmosphere where mothers are energized and encouraged to grow and realize their full potential as women, wives, mothers and leaders. We recognize that all mothers share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be. MOPS can help!

Eureka MOPS & MOMSnext meets one Tuesday evening (6:30 - 9:00 pm), two Thursday mornings (9:00-11:15 am) or two Friday mornings (9:00-11:15 am) a month, September through May at St. Marks Lutheran Church (500 Meramec Blvd. Eureka, MO 63025). The two groups share the same meeting plans. Our Tuesday evening meetings will have opportunities to gather together outside of St. Marks to enjoy time with one another on the off weeks.

During Thursday and Friday morning meetings, children (infants through preschool) are cared for in the MOPS Kids program, where they listen to a Bible story, do a craft, have a snack, and play, all under the supervision of qualified caregivers. Our Tuesday evening meetings will not have a MOPS Kids program or any children at the meetings.

For Thursday and Friday morning moms, each meeting begins with a relaxing breakfast, coffee, and an opportunity to visit. For Tuesday evening moms, each meeting begins with yummy desserts, drinks, and an opportunity to visit. Then we hear a speaker or watch a video on a topic of particular relevance and practical application, followed by discussion with the ladies at our small group table. Several times a year we have a craft, service project, or other special activity during our regular meeting time. In between meetings we organize playdates, Moms’ Nights Out, and whatever else strikes our fancy. Most of all, MOPS is fun!


MOMSnext is a group for mothers of school-age children. Better Moms Make a Better World. This is true during the preschool years and beyond. As mothers enter the school years, new challenges and issues arise, but the need for community and hope remains. For this reason we offer MOMSnext. A MOMSnext group is an open, accepting place for all mothers of school-age children to experience authentic community, personal growth, practical help and spiritual hope.
